I started my journey of ceramics with a Masters at Tama Art University in Tokyo in 1978. Then I created my first Art Studio in Kawasaki City, teaching and holding multiple exhibitions and installations of my work in Ginza.
Then in 1988 I moved to Amsterdam to study Glass Blowing and to establish by next Art Studio in Europe.
My style has been influenced by living in Europe and now I teach pottery and ceramics of many styles to students of all levels and I exhibit my work in Amsterdam and Paris.
Each style is connected to the original origin of the clay itself. Their characteristics are very unique and by understanding this it allows one to work together with the material to create beautiful art.
